HOW WE WORK
By offering personalised Family History/Family Tree Packages, predicting what the outcome will be is impossible, every investigation is unique. Common to each investigation however is the attention to detail and levels of personal service which we will provide. We personally examine and assess the pertinent authentic records from Scotland's two foremost archival repositories, The Scotland's People Centre and The National Archives of Scotland in Edinburgh. Here we are able to search for birth, death and marriage certificates, census returns, monumental inscriptions, wills, court records and others. We are also able to search the facilities located in The Mitchell Library, Glasgow which houses thousands of records relating to Glasgow and the surrounding areas, We also take advantage of online databases and various websites. In so doing we endeavour to leave no stone unturned to give our clients a complete and informative set of findings.
One of our own researchers was able to link her Scottish family to Neil Oliver, Archaeologist, Historian, Author and Broadcaster whilst another was successful in tracing his family as far back continuously as Sir John Hamilton, the Fourth Baron of Cadzow who died in 1402.
With our Family Tour Packages we apply the same levels of personal service to bring you the opportunity to experience a lasting memory of some elements of your family,s history. From planning alone to arranging to take you on an accompanied tour you are assured of being treated as part of ' Our Scottish Family'
